CANCELLATION POLICY & CANCELLATION FORM for goods, digital content and services

Short version for checkbox in star basket:

Digital content: By clicking this checkbox, I expressly agree that the execution of the contract will begin before the cancellation period expires. I am aware that my right of cancellation expires once execution begins.

Services: I request and expressly agree that you (Melanie Braun) begin carrying out the service that is the subject of the contract to be concluded before the end of the cancellation period. Furthermore, I am aware that I will lose the right of cancellation to which I am legally entitled once you have fully fulfilled the contract.

Consumers have a right of withdrawal in accordance with the following provisions, whereby a consumer is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for purposes that cannot predominantly be attributed to either their commercial or their independent professional activity:

A. Cancellation policy

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reasons.

For contracts for the delivery of goods, the cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you who is not the carrier took possession of the last goods.

For contracts for the delivery of data that is not on a physical data carrier and is produced and provided in digital form (digital content), the cancellation period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded.

In order to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must contact us (Melanie Braun, Cosmic Contact, Mühlenstr. 8 a, 14167 Berlin, Germany, Tel.: 030-24173330, Email: support@cosmic-contact.de) by means of a clear statement (e.g (e.g. a letter sent by post or email) to inform you of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You can use the attached sample cancellation form, although this is not mandatory.

In order to meet the cancellation period, it is sufficient that you send the notification of your exercise of the right of cancellation before the cancellation period expires.

Consequences of revocation

If you cancel this contract, we will have to pay you all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs resulting from you choosing a method of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us have) to be repaid immediately and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received notification of your cancellation of this contract. For this repayment we use the same payment method that you used for the original transaction, unless something different was expressly agreed with you; under no circumstances will you be charged any fees as a result of this repayment.

For contracts for the delivery of goods, we may refuse reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided evidence that you have sent the goods back, whichever is the earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of your cancellation of this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen day period has expired.

You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functionality of the goods.

Exclusion or premature expiry of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the delivery of goods that are not prefabricated and for the production of which an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to consumers who do not belong to a member state of the European Union at the time the contract is concluded and whose sole place of residence and delivery address is outside the European Union at the time the contract is concluded.

Contracts for the delivery of digital content: The right of withdrawal expires prematurely for contracts for the provision of digital content if we have begun to fulfill the contract after you have expressly agreed that we will begin to fulfill the contract before the end of the withdrawal period and you have confirmed your knowledge of this to us that, through your consent, you will lose your right of withdrawal from the start of the fulfillment of the contract, and we have provided you with a confirmation of the contract in which the content of the contract is reflected, including the aforementioned conditions for the early expiry of the right of withdrawal, on a durable data medium.

Contracts for the provision of services: The right of withdrawal expires prematurely for contracts for the provision of services if we have already provided the service in full before the cancellation period has expired and you have previously given us your consent to begin carrying out the service before the cancellation period has expired and at the same time With this consent you have confirmed your knowledge of the fact that you will lose your right of cancellation prematurely if we have completely fulfilled the contract.

In the event that you revoke the service contract before we have fully provided the service (i.e. before the right of revocation expires as described above), you owe us compensation for the partial services provided up to the time of revocation. However, this obligation to provide compensation only exists then if you have expressly requested that we begin providing the service before the cancellation period has expired and you have also been correctly informed about the right of cancellation and the possible claim for compensation.

Since each service is an exclusive appointment, this appointment will be reserved exclusively for you; other customer requests regarding this appointment will be rejected. If you cancel, the appointment can no longer be given to anyone else. This is why this appointment can be canceled free of charge up to 14 days before the agreed date. After that, a refund of the costs is no longer possible. You know that in an actual emergency it is possible to reschedule the appointment up to 48 hours in advance without incurring any follow-up costs.

General information on returning goods

1) Please avoid damage and contamination of the goods. Please send the goods back to us in the original packaging with all accessories and all packaging components. If necessary, use protective outer packaging. If you no longer have the original packaging, please use suitable packaging to ensure adequate protection against transport damage.
2) Please do not send the goods back to us carriage paid.
3) Please note that the aforementioned numbers 1-2 are not a prerequisite for the effective exercise of the right of withdrawal.
